HSCM builds out insurtech group, hires Adrian Jones

HSCM Bermuda (HSCM) has hired Adrian Jones as managing director and partner in its insurtech group.

Jones joins from SCOR Global P&C where he was deputy chief executive of P&C Partners and leader of its P&C ventures unit. He has held senior roles in both the established and emerging parts of insurance and brings nearly 20 years of experience to the role, and began his career at Bain & Co.

He has also sat on several boards of directors, including the insurtechs States Title Holding and B3i Services.

HSCM’s insurtech group was established by Vikas Singhal, a partner of HSCM. It now includes eight professionals, including Jones.

Jones said HSCM has an “industry-leading platform to partner with insurance innovators from seed to exit,” and praised its “breadth of capital options and depth of insurance expertise, which are critical in this capital-intensive, highly regulated industry.”
