Hamilton appoints head of property reinsurance in the US

Hamilton Insurance Group has appointed Brad Sforza senior vice president and head of property reinsurance for its new US reinsurance platform.

Sforza, who takes up his post on January 27, joins from PartnerRe, where he was vice president of property and multiline treaty. He has 20 years of industry experience, having spent over 14 years at Willis Re, most recently as executive vice president with responsibility for client management and business development. He began his career in reinsurance as a broker analyst at Aon Benfield.

Hamilton has been building up its global reinsurance footprint in the US, with Sforza joining Steve Wilson, head of casualty and specialty reinsurance, in the New York office.
