Everest strengthens its Lloyd’s Syndicate team in London

Everest Insurance International has appointed Martin Leeks to its Lloyd’s Syndicate 2786 as a medical malpractice and multi-national / specialty underwriter.

Based in London, Leeks is responsible for the development of medical malpractice European SME underwriting strategy, and assists the casualty underwriting team in its portfolio development.

Leeks was most recently head of casualty for the UK and Southern Europe at Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance. He has also held underwriting roles at MS Amlin, Chartis, ACE, Zurich Financial Services and Eagle Star, in an insurance career spanning more than 30 years.
