Everest Insurance appoints Dana Lodge as CFO

Everest Re Group has hired Dana Lodge as chief financial officer of Everest Insurance.

Lodge reports to Jonathan Zaffino, president and CEO of Everest Insurance, as well as Everest Group CFO Craig Howie. She is based in the US headquarters in Liberty Corner, New Jersey.

Lodge joins from Sompo International where she served as senior vice president and director of finance. Before that she held various roles at Hiscox Insurance USA, including director of finance and interim CFO. She also held various roles at Ernst & Young.

Zaffino welcomed Lodge’s international finance experience and leadership. “As a global specialty insurance company, Everest Insurance will benefit from [Lodge’s] technical accounting background, international experience, and deep expertise,” he said. “She will add depth to this core competency within the broader Everest organisation.”
