Everest hires four in financial lines in the US

Everest Insurance has made four appointments to its financial lines team.

Tim Golden joins as an underwriting manager on the cyber team. He reports to Ayesha West, vice president of cyber. He joins from Chubb Insurance where he was an AVP in the financial lines unit, and has previously worked at ACE in the professional risk and cyber liability business.

Kyle Auty joins as director of product management, reporting to Reena Boltax, VP of project management. Auty has over 10 years of legal and product experience, having also joined from Chubb, where he was legal counsel. He has also worked at Allied World Insurance.

Kirk Meixner becomes an underwriter on the lawyers professional liability team. He reports to Brittany Lannan, manager of professional liability. Meixner previously spent two years underwriting lawyers professional liability at Crum & Forster as an associate underwriter. He previously interned at Aspen Insurance and Laundry Owners Mutual Insurance.

Golden, Auty and Meixner are all based in New York.

Meanwhile, Micah Placek joins the Atlanta office as a senior underwriter on the private company team. He reports to Meredith Little, director of private company. Placek previously spent four years at Hiscox Insurance, and has also worked as an underwriter at AIG in the private/non-profit management liability group.

Keith Lavigne, head of financial lines, said the hires each bring extensive knowledge, insight and in-depth industry experience to Everest. “We know that their contributions to financial lines will enable us to continue to provide best in class service and customized product solutions to our clients and brokers,” he said.
