Everest hires Dean DeBlasi in its retail property group

Everest Insurance has hired Dean DeBlasi as vice president and east region manager in its retail property group.

DeBlasi oversees the retail property portfolio and is responsible for developing and maintaining trading partner relationships across the east region. He is based in New York.

DeBlasi was formerly regional vice president at Arch Insurance Group, responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, development and retention of the commercial property portfolio for the northeast region. Before that he worked as a commercial property regional executive at AIG, and as a property, machinery and marine underwriter at Chubb.

Jason Ventling, head of retail property at Everest Insurance, said: “With more than two decades of experience in the property insurance space, [DeBlasi] will be a great asset not just to our underwriting team, but also to our clients and brokers across the east region.”
