Elementum Advisors, the alternative investment manager specialising in collateralised natural catastrophe event reinsurance investments, has hired Todor Todorov as vice president of business development and investor relations (BDIR).
Todorov has over a decade of experience working with insurance linked securities (ILS). He joins from Willis Towers Watson (WTW), where he began his career, and was most recently a director on the investment manager research team, leading the research effort on ILS strategies.
He has worked in both London and New York and spent time in WTW’s investment consultant practice, where he was responsible for manager research, covering hedge funds and alternative investment strategies, including ILS. He was most recently a member of WTW’s hedge fund investment committee.
