Canopius strengthens London team

Canopius has appointed Grant Elliott as head of business development and Sally Coryn as head of corporate development as it strengthens its London operations.

Elliott joins Canopius from Aon where, since 2009, he has been strategic business director and head of its Asia desk based in London.

Coryn, previously head of business development and communications, will focus on strategy, marketing, and corporate communications—including management of third party capital relationships.

Commenting on the appointments, Inga Beale, group chief executive said: “Canopius has a clear strategy for profitable growth and a mandate to ensure we have the right talent in place to continue to achieve our ambitions”

“These appointments come at an exciting time for the group and following our strongest ever financial results. Both will help to capitalise on our success and build momentum further.”

Canopius recently posted record 2013 half year results, that saw profits increase by 28 percent to £42 million.
