BDA hires former BMA communications pro

The Bermuda Business Development Agency (BDA) has named a new director of communications and public relations.

Stuart Roberts joins the BDA having spent the last ten years at the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), most recently as assistant director of communications, a position he held since January 2018. In all he has worked in Bermuda for over 17 years.

Roland Andy Burrows, the BDA’s chief executive officer, said: “Not only does [Roberts] bring valuable experience communicating about Bermuda’s best-in-class financial services regulatory environment, but he has also worked in the marketing and communications department of Butterfield Bank, and is a former journalist, having worked at The Royal Gazette.”
