AXIS Insurance appoints new US A&H lead underwriter

AXIS Insurance has hired Stacey Sutts as lead underwriter for US accident and health (A&H).

Sutts has more than 17 years of underwriting and actuarial experience and joins from Chubb where she was a regional vice president, responsible for both A&H’s underwriting and actuarial support in Latin America. Before that she worked at Prudential Financial in various actuarial and underwriting roles.

In her new role she is responsible for growing and supporting new partnerships and assessing growth opportunities in additional areas of coverage, as well as executing US specialty A&H underwriting strategy.

James Hamilton, global head of A&H for AXIS Insurance, highlighted Sutts’ “track record of building strong partnerships” that will help AXIS expand its specialty A&H portfolio.
