Aon strengthens reinsurance solutions in Bermuda

Aon has snared Neville Weston as vice chairman of reinsurance solutions in Bermuda, giving him responsibility for specialty lines.

Weston has a background in both underwriting and broking, and joins from Aeolus where he was a partner and senior underwriter for the property catastrophe fund. Before that he was with Guy Carpenter, managing the casualty and professional liability broking operations in Bermuda.

He reports to Tony Fox, chairman of reinsurance solutions in Bermuda.

Nick Frankland, CEO of reinsurance solutions in the UK, said: “Neville’s experience in specialty lines, property catastrophe treaty, industry loss warranty and retrocession contracts will further strengthen the team on the island as we explore growth opportunities for our clients.”

The appointment is subject to Bermuda immigration approval.
