Aon Securities hires Citi securitisation specialist to drive product innovation

Aon Securities has hired a new managing director from Citibank.

Sourna Daneshvar has more than 20 years’ experience in the financial services sector and has been charged with expanding Aon Securities’ capabilities in raising capital and product innovation.

At Citibank Daneshvar was a director, specialising in securitisation and managing alternative sales and asset origination across both public and private markets for alternative institutional investors and insurance clients. He has also served as a director at Credit Suisse, holding business development and European financing roles within the prime services business.

Daneshvar is based in Chicago and reports to Paul Schultz, Aon Securities’ chief executive officer.

Schultz said: “We are delighted that Sourna has joined Aon and look forward to expanding our capital raising capabilities and driving further innovation around capital solutions for clients.”
