Aon poaches Guy Carpenter exec to drive reinsurance business growth

Aon has poached a new senior managing director from Guy Carpenter to work in its reinsurance solutions business in Minneapolis.

Eric Schwebach joins Aon with a focus on the management of major clients and new business generation. He reports to Trevor Dorr, executive managing director of reinsurance solutions.

At Guy Carpenter Schwebach was most recently senior vice president and member of the North American property and casualty (P&C) treaty broking unit. He served as an account executive and senior broker for several high-profile global and nationwide insurance carriers with a focus on property lines of business.

Before that he was part of Aon Benfield’s client development and production teams in Chicago. He began his reinsurance career at Benfield in 2006.
