AM Best to sponsor the ILS Convergence event in Bermuda

AM Best is sponsoring the Insurance-Linked Securities (ILS) Convergence event, which will be held on November 9 - 10, 2016, at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess in Bermuda.

Emmanuel Modu, managing director and global head of ILS at AM Best, will present the topic, titled, “A Framework for Fund Issuer Credit Ratings,” on Thursday, November 10, at 3:45 pm (AST).

The session will address AM Best’s considerations in determining an issuer credit rating (ICR) for funds, as well as fund-related insurance cells and debt obligations.

AM Best’s ICR is an independent opinion of an entity’s ability to meet its ongoing financial obligations and can be issued on either a long- or short-term basis.
