Canopius restructures claims team

Canopius Group has restructured its claims team and made a number of senior appointments in an effort to make their operations more responsive and provide the most integrated and bespoke service possible.

Michael East will lead the team, continuing in his role as head of claims. Fiona Sperry continues her role as deputy head of claims and assumes the role of head of global speciaty claims. Clare Constable is promoted to head of global property claims and Tony Scott has been promoted to head of UK retail claims. Angus Rogers joins the team as head of claims MI and operations.

In addition, Akhtar Ahmed is appointed head of casualty claims and Tabitha Nice, who will join the team in January 2014, is appointed head of poltical and crisis claims.
