BILTIR summer internship has record year
Two new members for BILTIR
Hannah Ross, chief strategy and capital officer, The Argus Group
The Bermuda International Long Term Insurers and Reinsurers (BILTIR) association has appointed Hannah Ross, chief strategy and capital officer at The Argus Group, to its board of directors.
Ross, who joined Argus in 2010, leads a team covering group actuarial and risk, capital and finance, and strategic programme delivery. A fellow of the Institute of Actuaries UK, she previously held actuarial roles in London with KPMG, Synesis Life and Pension Insurance Corporation.
Ross said: “I look forward to working with the BILTIR directors, in particular as we navigate key Bermuda-based issues relating to the Economy, Social and Corporate Governance and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.”
BILTIR executive director Martin Laframboise said Ross’s appointment meant the organisation now has “a local Bermudian company at the highest leadership level”.
The Argus Group is a multi-line insurance and financial services company offering a full range of insurance, pensions and investment products targeted at local and international organizations and individuals.
BILTIR represents 66 life re/insurance businesses and servicing companies in Bermuda, which employ more than 600 people on the island.
