Argo Group appoints new Europe/Asia head
Argo Group International Holdings has appointed Matt Harris to lead the company’s Europe and Asia operations. He takes up the role with immediate effect, reporting to Jose Hernandez, head of international.
A 25-year insurance industry veteran, Harris joins from AIG, where he was in charge of AIG’s South East Asia country operations. Previously, he was CEO of AIG Malaysia Insurance and CEO of AIG New Zealand. Before that Harris served as chief representative for Insurance Australia Group in Mumbai, India.
