Validus Re promotes three in Bermuda office

Validus Re has made a number of underwriting promotions in its Bermuda office, strengthening the capabilities and breadth of its global reinsurance team.

Chris Estwanik, currently assistant vice president, US property underwriter, has been promoted to vice president, US property underwriter. He joined Validus Re as an analyst in 2007.

Mark Robinson, currently assistant vice president, international property underwriter, has been promoted to vice president, international property underwriter. Robinson joined Validus in 2009.

In addition, Cameron Maffit, currently specialty and marine underwriter, has been promoted to assistant vice president, specialty and marine underwriter. Maffit has been with Validus since 2010, where he began his career as a reserving actuary.
