S&P event to feature Willis Re & Aspen execs

Chief executive officer of Aspen Insurance, Chris O’Kane, and Willis Re chairman Peter Hearn, are among a number of senior executives speaking at a roundtable event in Monte Carlo this year.

The roundtable, hosted by Standard & Poor’s (S&P), will discuss how global reinsurers can underpin their relevance in the face of increasing competition. Key topics will include climate change, big data, alternative capital and growth in developing economies.

Dennis Sugrue, director of S&P, Frank Majors, co-founder of Nephila and Milan Simic, managing director of AIR Worldwide, will join O’Kane and Hearn for the discussion.

The roundtable will take place on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at 3.30-4.30pm at Salon Naiade B& C, Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel, 12 Avenue des Spélugues, 98000 Monte-Carlo, France.
