Cherie Edwards promoted at Vantage Risk

Cherie Edwards has been appointed Vantage Risk's senior vice president and head of Bermuda excess casualty and healthcare.

Edwards was promoted to senior vice president in August after joining Vantage in 2021 from Sompo where she was vice president from 2014. She was previously an underwriter at Canopius.

"I am confident that Cherie's 20+ years of underwriting expertise will continue the team's profitable growth, and her experience will undoubtedly make a significant and positive impact on both the team and Vantage Risk Companies," said Denise Watkins, SVP and group head of excess casualty and Bermuda healthcare.
