Change at the top at Allied World

Kevin Marine has become CEO of global reinsurance at Bermuda-based Allied World Reinsurance, succeeding John  Bender who has become chairman of reinsurance and risk management. 

 Marine has been chief underwriting officer of Allied World, a Fairfax company, since 2017 having previously been executive vice president since 2010. 

 In a posting on LinkedIn, he said he was happy to announce he was starting in the role. 

Bender was CEO of Allied World from 2007 until November. 

Both Bender and Marine were previously at Bermuda-based Platinum Underwriters.
