Catlin COO to remain following acquisition

Paul Jardine, the chief operating officer of Catlin, will be retained by the company following its acquisition by XL.

Benji Meuli, who currently serves as the chief financial officer of Catlin and has served as a member of the Catlin board of directors since 2009, will serve as chief investment officer (CIO).

Meuli will assume the role from Sarah Street, current CIO of XL, who will continue working at the combined company on a part-time basis as the lead on key innovation projects.

Overseeing the integration are Myron Hendry, the chief platform officer of XL and Adrian Spieler, Catlin’s chief administrative officer.

In addition, Susan Cross, XL’s global chief actuary and Jacob Rosengarten, XL’s chief risk officer will continue in their roles.

Kirstin Gould, who has served as the GC and secretary of XL since 2007, will become chief counsel of the combined company.
