Amlin hire former Aspen exec

Amlin has announced the appointment of Oliver Peterken as an independent non-executive director, which will take effect on September 1st, 2014.

Peterken will also be joining the risk & solvency, nomination and audit committees.

He is a deputy chairman and chairman of the finance and audit committee of the Willow Foundation, as well as a former non-executive director of Torus Insurance and the former group chief risk officer of Aspen.

Previously, Peterken was regional director of Willis Re, where he had a global remit spanning the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin America and Australia, and held a number of senior management positions during his ten years at the company.
