AXIS taps Argo Pro as head of E&O in the US

AXIS Capital has appointed Pauline Morley as head of errors and omissions in the US, effective immediately.

Reporting to John Van Decker, head of global financial lines, Morley will lead the growth and advancement of Bermuda-based AXIS' offering in the professional liability market, aligned with the company’s position as a leading specialty insurer.

“Pauline brings extensive E&O expertise in addition to proven leadership skills that are integral to building on our position in the professional liability market. She will help shape the direction of our portfolio by deepening our existing broker relationships, pursuing additional sectors for profitable growth, and bolstering our existing underwriting strength,” said Van Decker. 

“Pauline joins AXIS at an important moment in our journey as we continue to target new opportunities and elevate our specialty insurance solutions in the E&O market.”

Morley joins AXIS with more than 35 years of professional liability underwriting and leadership experience, having held senior positions at Western World Insurance Group, Travelers, HCC, and USI. Most recently, she served as senior vice president, miscellaneous professional liability and architects & engineers' liability at Argo Pro.
