New CRO for SiriusPoint

Global specialty re/insurer SiriusPoint has appointed Andreas Kull as chief risk officer (CRO). He’ll take up the role beginning in March 2022 and be responsible for overseeing SiriusPoint’s enterprise-wide risk management strategy. Based in Zurich, he will be a member of the Executive Leadership team and report to chief executive officer Sid Sankaran.

Kull joins from Bernina Re, where he held the same position. He has also been chief risk officers for   RenaissanceRe Europe, Tokio Millennium Re and AXA Winterthur, having started his career of over two decades as an actuary with Zurich Financial Services. He is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Basel in Switzerland.

“With his extensive industry experience, Andreas will ensure that our enterprise risk strategy and capabilities support underwriting excellence, enable our long-term transformational growth, and help us to deliver sustainable results.
