MS Amlin hires outwards reinsurance advisor
MS Amlin Underwriting (MS AUL), the Lloyd’s global specialty re/insurer, has hired a former Tokio Marine Kiln exec as outwards reinsurance advisor.
Habib Kattan has spent the past five years working in an advisory and business development capacity across a number of projects in the insurance and reinsurance space through Kattan Associates. He previously headed the ceded reinsurance and credit control at Tokio Marine Kiln for over a decade.
He has over four decades of market experience and has also held roles at Wellington Underwriting Syndicate and Aspen Insurance.
In his new role at MS Amlin he supports the implementation of MS AUL’s outward reinsurance strategy, which includes developing and expanding reinsurance relationships and overseeing reinsurance purchasing.
He reports directly to Tjabo Kuyf, MS AUL's head of outwards reinsurance.
