Ed hires John Head to strengthen its cyber offering

Ed, the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker, has appointed John Head as a broker and producer to support the growth of its professional and executive risk portfolio and strengthen its cyber offering.

Head joins from Paragon International Insurance where he has served as a cyber and technology errors and omissions broker since 2018, with a primary focus on the US wholesale market. He began his insurance career in underwriting in 2015, working with the financial lines team at Antares.

Henry Warner, Ed’s divisional director for cyber, said Head’s experience in the wholesale cyber market and ability to provide bespoke solutions to clients of all sizes will benefit clients. “The cyber market is increasingly becoming more complex and clients, more than ever, need us to expertly navigate the current challenging market for them,” he added.
