Converge appoints Ari Lindner as CEO
Converge US has appointed Ari Lindner as its chief executive officer. The Munich Re and ACE Life veteran joins the onshore affiliate of Converge Re II, Puerto Rico domiciled life and annuity reinsurance company of real estate investment group Lightstone.
According to the company, Lindner will oversee the operation of Converge US’s reinsurance servicing business and help manage and grow Converge’s reinsurance portfolio and invested asset base.
He joins the firm with decades of experience that has seen him serve as a vice president for Swiss Re and AXA Re, in various roles with ACE Group, where he was primarily responsible for building and leading its life reinsurance companies in Bermuda and the US. Until February, he was senior vice president of the North American arm of Munich Re Markets, where he led the development and growth of customized life and annuity reinsurance transactions.
“With his vast industry experience and proven track record of successfully capitalizing and building reinsurance companies from the ground-up, Ari will be well-positioned to make an immediate impact,” said Mitchell Hochberg, Converge Re board of directors chairman.
