AXA XL hires Judy Faber in Canada

AXA XL has named Judy Faber as vice president of business operations and customer management in Canada.

She joins from Zurich Canada where she was most recently head of customer management. Before that she spent nearly 20 years in loss adjustment and underwriting. She is a member of the Insurance Institute of Canada, Ontario Independent Adjusters Association, Toastmasters of Toronto and the Insurance Bureau of Canada, as well as chair for speaker series at the Women’s Innovative Network.

In her new role Faber oversees the Canadian insurance operations of AXA XL, and has been asked to strengthen its customer management strategy in that country. She joins AXA XL’s Canadian leadership team, reporting directly to Urs Uhlmann, AXA XL’s chief executive and country manager in Canada.

She is responsible for establishing and executing an operations strategy for the business units in Canada, while ensuring alignment with the broader priorities of AXA XL.  She has been charged with streamlining underwriting and operations to ensure quality service for clients and brokers.

She supports the distribution function in Canada by leading the execution of its customer management strategy and elevating AXA XL’s market reputation in the targeted segments.
