White Mountains strengthens board

Bermuda-based White Mountains Insurance Group has strengthened its board with appointment of Gary Tolman as a director.

Tolman most recently served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Esurance, a direct to consumer insurance company, from 2000 to 2015.  Over his career, Tolman held several senior executive positions at Talegen and Fireman's Fund.

Ray Barrette, chairman of White Mountains, said: "I am delighted to welcome Gary to our board and back to the White Mountains family. With his sound judgment and broad industry experience, he will add a great deal of value to our company.”
