PartnerRe expands client and broker operations through appointment

Partner Reinsurance (PartnerRe), a Bermuda-based property/casualty and specialty reinsurer, has expanded its team through the appointment of Jörg Bruniecki.

Reporting to Charles Goldie, group executive committee member, Bruniecki will serve as the company’s head of global client and broker management, where he will be responsible for managing PartnerRe’s key broker relationships.

Bruniecki has nearly 20 years of experience in the underwriting industry, having most recently held the position of client executive for Munich Re’s central and eastern European operations.

During his time at Munich Re, he was responsible for the development of the company’s non-life business.

Prior to this, he has held a number of management and executive positions at Munich Re, where he has managed the development of broker relationships and developed the company’s global sales capabilities.
