Neuman appointed Ironshore CIO

Joshua Neuman relinquishes his responsibilities on the Ironshore Board of Directors to take up the role of chief investment officer. He is now responsible for overseeing the company’s portfolio investments and will report to chief financial officer Joe Roberts.

Neuman has worked in the role of CIO previously, for single family investment office Straus Group, and as a managing director at Irving Place Capital, a middle market equity firm.

In addition, Ironshore has appointed Mark Heintzman as senior vice president for strategic initiatives and capital markets. Heintzman will focus on strategic business opportunities and capital management strategies in addition to his participation in the strategic administration of ceded reinsurance activity. He has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years in a variety of senior positions with public and private companies.

Kevin Kelley, CEO of Ironshore, said: “we are pleased to have the financial expertise and experience of Josh and Mark. Their first-hand knowledge of the company’s operating principles and growth initiatives will help realise management’s execution of Ironshore’s strategic financial goals.”
