Lancashire appoints Cathedral underwriter

Lancashire Holdings, a specialty insurer based in Bermuda, has appointed Matthew Narbett to join Cathedral Underwriting to underwrite property business for Syndicate 2010.

Based in London, Narbett will help underwrite the property direct and facultative reinsurance business led by Richard Wood for Cathedral’s Syndicate 2010.

Narbett has over 13 years of experience as a broker and underwriter in the Lloyd’s and London markets, and most recently served as class underwriter for XL Catlin.

Richard Williams, the active underwriter for Cathedral Syndicates 2010 and 3010, said: “Matthew is a respected underwriter with extensive Lloyd’s experience and a track record for servicing the needs of clients and brokers. He will prove a great addition to Cathedral and the Lancashire Group.”
