Ironshore International has appointed Jörg Eickstädt as head of direct and facultative property, who will be based in London.

Eickstädt’s roles will include underwriting the company’s direct and facultative portfolio for US and international property risks. He will report to Nick Wells, senior vice president, global property, in Bermuda.

At Zurich he led the global fortune 500 property portfolio with authority to underwrite co-insurance and reinsurance coverage for global property risks.
