Axis Specialty exec joins XL Catlin

A former Axis Specialty (US) Services senior vice president has joined XL Catlin’s insurance operation.

Robert Peretti has been appointed as senior vice president (SVP) and head of broker and client management in the Americas. The Americas region includes the US, Canada, Latin America and Bermuda.

Based in New York, Peretti will report to Joseph Tocco, chief executive of XL Catlin's Americas region.

At Axis Specialty, Peretti most recently served as senior vice president and head of broker relations and distribution.

Over the last three decades, he has held various senior broker management and client executive positions with Zurich, Marsh and The Hartford.

Tocco said: "Our success relies on knowing our brokers' and clients' insurance needs and developing solutions across product lines or geographies that fulfill coverage requirements, add value to their own operations, and ultimately contribute to their business success.
