AXIS Insurance boosts CMS team with new appointment

Bermuda-based AXIS Capital Holdings has appointed Kelly Dworniczek as vice president, public D&O and fiduciary product manager, for AXIS Insurance’s commercial management solutions (CMS) team.

According to the company Dworniczek will oversee product strategy, development and analysis for AXIS Insurance’s D&O and fiduciary liability products. Based in Chicago, she will report directly to Mark Paccione, executive vice president of CMS at AXIS Insurance.

In a statement Paccione said, “Kelly is an experienced leader with a broad background and proven track record in D&O and fiduciary liability insurance. Our team and clients will benefit from her experience managing a diverse set of product offerings and her unique combination of skills and expertise, which extend across management, underwriting, product development, claims handling and distribution.”

Dworniczek has nearly 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently serving as Assistant Vice President, Underwriting and Management Liability Lead, at CNA. Previously, she worked in several claims-management roles at CNA, including overseeing its highest-risk claims. A lawyer by training, Ms. Dworniczek began her career working for several Chicago law firms, as well as at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s Chicago office.
