Axco poaches business development exec from Liberty

Axco Insurance Information Services has appointed a Liberty Mutual executive as a business development manager in the US.

Anya Robinson has the responsibility of developing business opportunities in North America and Bermuda. She will be based in Boston and report to Tim Yeates, business development director of Axco in London.

Robinson previously worked as global network and reverse flow underwriting manager at Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston. Prior to this, she held roles in claims and service management, as well as domestic and international property and marine underwriting.

Yeates says: “Anya has worked with Axco as a client for many years now so it is with enormous pleasure that I welcome her to our global team. The US market is by far the most developed insurance market in the world and a reinforced local presence provides a great opportunity for Axco to respond innovatively to the changing information needs of our clients. I look forward to announcing new members of the North American team as our presence in the region continues to expand.”
