AM Best will sponsor 2016 Bermuda Captive Conference

AM Best is set to be a silver sponsor of the 2016 Bermuda Captive Conference, which will be held at the Fairmount Southampton Resort in Bermuda on June 13 and will last until June 15.

Jim Fowler, business development manager of AM Best’s rating services group, will moderate a panel titled, “A Captive’s Guide to the Rating Process,” scheduled for June 15 at 11:00 am.

The panel will provide an overview of the rating process, testimony from a captive owner and a working tutorial of Best’s Capital Adequacy Ratio (BCAR).

Assistant vice president Gary Davis and senior financial analyst Fred Eslami of AM Best will also participate in the panel.
