Allied World makes raft of Bermuda appointments

Allied World has made twelve appointments in Bermuda, a number of which were promotions as the company continues to cement its reputation on the Island.

In Allied World’s actuarial and modelling department, Arie Haziza has been promoted to senior vice president, head of catastrophe risk analytics; Sandy Wu has been promoted to senior vice president, head of capital modelling and Benoit Derval has been promoted to vice president and corporate actuary.

In its claims division Lita Saltus has been promoted to senior claims analyst, property; and Najee Woods has been promoted to senior claims analyst, property.

In the company’s finance and internal audit divisions, Gareth Tavares has been promoted to vice president, financial planning and analysis and Damion Wickramage has been promoted to vice president, information technology internal audit. Melody Johnson has been promoted to the position of vice president, project management office manager.

While on the underwriting side, Sue Cabral has been promoted to assistant vice president, healthcare; Jaime Peixoto has been promoted to senior underwriter, professional liability and Andrew Osborne has been promoted to underwriter, healthcare all within Allied World’s insurance division. While Rachael Ashford has been promoted within the company’s reinsurance arm to vice president, specialty reinsurance.
