Allied World Bermuda donates to healthcare organisations

Allied World Bermuda has purchased and donated wheelchairs from Medical  House to healthcare organisations across Bermuda.

Founded in 1995, Medical House is a business that helps offer comfort and quality of life to the ill and elderly, by providing reliable services and equipment at fair and competitive prices.

Lorraine Rest Home, Matilda Smith Williams Seniors Residence, the Dialysis Unit at King Edward Memorial Hospital and Francis Telford Nursing Home were the recipients of the wheelchairs.

A number of employees and residents from the various organizations came to Allied World’s office to speak with the Allied World Bermuda charity committee.

Kirsten Beasley, chief operations officer at Allied World Bermuda commented, “We were so pleased to be able to provide these critically needed wheelchairs for seniors in our community. Moreover, we had a wonderful afternoon meeting with several of the staff  and residents  who  will  benefit  from this donation.”
